We have an ornamental pear tree and today was a sunny but cold day (20 degrees)...looking outside I noticed 40 to 50 robins eating the berries flying away then another set of robins flying in to take their turn eating. It was almost like different groups were sharing the food source. Their chests seemed to be puffed up but they were in order about eating and taking turns.
