A cold (-12°C), overcast day with wind and light snow. The Robin song was heard with an apparent Bleep at the beginning of the normal song (Sounded unhappy). The Robin was then sighted clearly in a tree about 20 feet away.
The following day two Robins were seen in bright sunshine in adjacent oak trees. No song.
