After 3 days of solid rain and a scattering of swallows and cedar waxwings, the robins have arrived on their usual journey.100 or more very busy eating our cherry laurel and palm berries (and pooping on our driveway and car as usual also). We are always so excited to see them arrive each year to our woods and yard. Today it is 80 and we had quite a bit of chatter this morning. But quiet at midday. Perhaps they will return this evening for dinner.
