Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/01/2014

Number: 1

We had had ten days of very cold weather and deep snow -- from 4 to 12 inches, and nighttime temperature of 10 to 14 degrees, daytime temperatures of from 14 to 24; but 10 days without being above 32. The day before it began to warm up. Today a large grassy bank became completely bare and the temperature was in the 40's. A flock of 15 robins descended and began pecking for worms. They stayed off-and-on for about an hour. I think they were finding worms.
