I have had milkweed growing all year. Asclepius Curassavica. The month of December there were appx 12 monarch larva. I was able to locate 6 chrysalis. I brought 3 chrysalis inside. Two have emerged, the first on Jan 23, the second on February 3, 2014. The three chrysalis outside have emerged. Two emerged on a sunny warm day and were fine. The third emerged on a cold day and was unable to hang properly. I have not spotted any additional caterpillars.
