I spotted the male red winged blackbird in my neighbors back yard sharing food from the bird feeder with several other species of small birds. They left when the crows came. Then I put a feeder out for the first time in my back yard yesterday, 2/7/14, and now they were here today. about 10 of them. Beautiful. I had to look them up to know what I was seeing. Fun to watch.
