I heard a lot of bird chirping out my kitchen window. Upon looking I saw approx a dozen robins together on the grass area below a pine tree. Most of the remaining yard area is under snow/ice cover. I was surprised to see this. Last night temp was going down to 12 degrees and tonight they say will be 2 degrees with a 5 inch snow coming in two days. We do have mature row of leyland cypress which I hope will help to shelter them. I found your web site by searching as to why I'm seeing robins this early.
