Robin (First HEARD singing)

Date: 02/11/2014

Number: 1

OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS I HAVE NOTICED I AM HEARING THE ROBIN'S SINGING EVEN THOUGH THERE IS ABOUT 8" OF SNOW ON THE GROUND AND TEMPS IN THE TEENS. I HAVE SEEN THEM AT MY HEATED BIRD BATH ALL WINTER ALL PUFFED UP TO STAY WARM. TRIED PUTTING OUT FRESH BLUEBERRIES FOR THEM, BUT THEY IGNORE THEM. MUST BE GETTING FOOD ELSEWHERE.

I listened to all the calls and it seems what I heard was the “true song”, the first call. I have an outdoor microphone with inside speaker and that is how I heard it. I will keep listening to make sure what I heard. I see them everyday at my birdbath - usually 3 or 4. Never seen more than 5 at once.
