Hi;
I live in Port Charlotte Fl. Over the past few days i have observed an unusual amount of robins in my area. And by unusual I mean thousands.
They started out Feb 6 with their normal eating of brazilian peppers which then drunk. I put in a tip to NBC-2 News. See link below
http://www.nbc-2.com/story/24656989/why-are-charlotte-county-birds-getting-drunk#.UvQb59JDv8s
But the numbers of Robins increased over the next few days. And have become a wild a crazy show.
Feb 10, upon arriving home about 6 p.m. observed a 25 minute show of robbins flying west over my place, which was non stop sky full of robins that would span about 6 city blocks wide (north to south) and horizon in the east to horizon of the west. Made me think Alfred Hitchcok was filming a new Birds movie.
Yesterday they came back.
Last night they repeated the flock flying back to the west. But in not such great numbers ...
Video ... But doesn't show all .. Birds better seen if you view in full screen

Was curious as to what is causing this huge numbers of robins.
Thanks,
