It's 4:45pm and I just saw 3 fat robins in the tree in front of my house. A Northern Mockingbird was also with them and seemed to be tagging along. I have seen them mid February in the past, but that was when we had a mild winter. Right we have over a foot of snow on the ground. It has been a harsh Winter with temps in the single digits and below many times and more snow than we have seen in many years. I hope this may be a sign that we will have an early Spring!
