Locally the red cedars are in a "mast" year; incredible fruit production. So, waxwings and robins, even bluebirds, are staying around. Numbers? Hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds, etc.; visible in all directions, singing, all looking healthy and robust, both in Prince Edward Point National Wildlife area and in the Belleville area (immediately north of the county).
All along 13 it's robins and cedars esp out near the tip of the point.
