Part of Great Backyard Bird Count. Waves of 20 and 17 (and 3 singles) were observed at Rio Hondo Ranch Subdivision. They were stopping to feed on Chinaberry tree fruit, then moving on. The Robin cohort, Cedar Waxwing were around in huge numbers. Small flocks were feeding throughout the area and would stop to rest together to create a huge flock of 300 or more birds.
