Today students were excited to see that 20 tulips have emerged! At first we counted 15, then 16 and then 17, then finally 20! Some were so small that we didn't notice them at first. Most were green and some had a purple and reddish needle like point on them. We weren't sure whether to count the one that was super skinny (a runt?) as we thought it may be part of another. We will have to wait and see! Some of them had barely opened or unfurled.
