Have spotted many monarchs in our schoolyard habitat for some time
now. Our native milkweeds (Asclepias fascicularis) have signs of eggs on them already. Many other native butterflies are arriving.
We have several species of CA natives that attract adult butterflies (like Verbena lilacina, Monardella villosa, etc.)
