I have spotted several Woodpeckers (Northern Flickers) Eastern species with the yellow tint (Flying)...They are feeding on the ground for ants...I have never seen this species here...After the Hurricanes (2) recently there are a lot of dead Pines...Some dead Pines are from Pine Beetles killing them...I am so HAPPY to see this species here !!! The Northern Flickers are VERY BEAUTIFUL !!! There are several different types of Woodpeckers here...Pileated, Downy, Red Headed, That I know of personally... THANK YOU for having this Web Site... JOHN TOOHEY.I could send a picture if it would help.
