I saw and heard a Great-horned owl around 3:30 in the afternoon. There has not been one in this area before and it was quite loud. It was heard again -if the same one - 02/25/14 at night in the same area. There was no sighting as it was dark but I could pinpoint what tree it was in but not see it.
