Mrs. Sires' third grade class, 3C, was excited to see that 11 of their 23 tulips had emerged. 3C also had fun doing some late experimental planting that did not follow scientific protocol. Students are changing the variables (how deep, lots of bone meal, no bone meal, etc.) and predicting whether and when these bulbs will emerge.
