I saw two (2) males yesterday (03/03), the first I've seen this year. It's possible they are over-wintering birds since we usually have a few here by Lake Superior. We had a bumper crop of Mountain Ash berries this year so it's possible I saw a couple just out foraging since they were in a Mountain Ash tree.
