There are 3 robins wintering in our neighborhood. I have seen them off and on for the past few months (I believe they are from the same group that raised 2 broods in our yard this past summer). BUt, over the past few weeks, they have been spending more time in our birch trees -- typically in the later hours of the afternoon. I have put out berries and apples, and we also have a heated bird bath for when the temps aren't too cold. I have been hearing the occasional "tut tut tut" call. It has been a brutally cold winter here in Minnesota, so I am so happy to see that these birds have survived the worst of it!
