At about 4:30pm PST I observed the first Male Robin of the year in my yard. He was on the ground under the bird feeders searching for food. The yard is still mostly covered with snow, but the feeders are somewhat protected and the ground under them is free of snow. I had also put some squash out in the yard for the wild turkeys that reside here & he was checking that out. Not sure if he ate any squash.
