I briefly visited the Sault Ste. Marie Landfill during special holiday hours and observed 17 Bald Eagle, of which 10 were Adult and the remaining 7 were not fully mature. We have at least 20 birds in the area each winter (all winter). This past December during the 2013/14 Christmas Bird Count we had a Record 102 Bald Eagle.
