Robin (First HEARD singing)

3 or 4 very fat singers daily since 3/8. What a treat!

I am hearing True Song, Peek and Tut, Whinny, and Zeeup. Until now, I never realized how many songs they have!
We do have worms.

It seems as though they're still trying for the land grab. I'm seeing lots of "chest-butting" (the males run/fly about 2 feet off the ground and bounce off each other's breasts). It doesn't seem to be a friendly gesture. Also males chasing each other off. The females are just going around pulling worms, totally bored with the whole thing for now. I'll know when they're ready to mate. Every year I've had to duck quickly as a pair flies by at high speed with no attention at all to obstacles such as people, posts, house, etc.
Such enthusiasm!
