I live in the western portion of Navarro County. I has been a hard winter. Last week it got down to 18 degrees two mornings in a row. My guess is we are running 3 weeks behind where we have been the last several winters in terms of germination. It was 75 here yesterday and I walked around quite a bit. No milkweed has sprouted that I could find. I have lots of bluebonnets but none are blooming. I only saw 2 Sulphur butterflies.
