After a long and bitter winter, there is nothing quite as refreshing as seeing the SANDHILL CRANES coming "home".


And today (March 10), while the sun was shining, these first harbingers of Spring were more than a sight for winter weary eyes.


Their arrival says to me - "don't lose hope" - spring WILL come to Wisconsin.
