first hearing of a robin right before sun up. This is being entered on 3/12 and have heard the robin three mornings in a row now. Actually saw the two robins on the second day when I had time to look. First sighting of a robin since last fall. The colder than average winter with a extended snow cover goes with the fact I haven't seen any overwintering robins this season. Always taking notice for robins and red wing black birds.
