I have been waiting impatiently for the return of my beloved Anna's. As I'm sitting at my patio table, 10' from my feeder, here comes last years male youth. He saw me and landed on a branch in the tree and stared at me for a couple of minutes, trying to determine if it was safe to come so close. I had my camera in hand waiting, but he decided to move on. I'm happy anyway. They are returning!
