Robin (First SEEN)
Sightings report image

Date: 03/19/2014

Number: 1

Walking to school today I first heard a the sound of a Robin, them followed it to a tree where I watched the first Robin of the spring. The weather today is very nice, forecast high in the high 40's, no wind, and great big beautiful Montana blue sky. This is about the same time every year that we see the first Robin. Winter has been hard in Montana with record breaking cold temperatures in December, January and February and snow amounts in the mountains at 153% of normal. There is a forecast for another winter storm by the weekend. Still, there is hope for Spring in the air.

See when this Northern Observation Post predicted first robin!
