Today is very chilly, about 35 degrees F, and we noticed the first sprouts in our tulip garden. We noticed the top of the sprout is red and the part closer to the ground is green. We were very excited to see the bloom because our winter was so cold. We were worried they wouldn't bloom because the ground was so frozen for so long.
