All Other Signs of Spring

Date: 03/19/2014

Number: 1

My brother lives north of Brantford and every year gets at least one Eastern Phoebe nesting in his garage, which he leaves open. It nests at least twice in the season. Last year it came very early in March and this year they heard a phoebe for the first time today, but didn't see it.
Two bluebirds and a northern shrike along the Brant Waterloo Rd south of Ayr.

Forwarded by Don Davis. Don notes: Too early for this spring migrant. Flocks of tundra swans are arriving in southwestern Ontario.
