Craig Hensley, the Interpretive Specialist at Guadalupe River State Park (Spring Branch, TX) called and ask me to post his monarch sighting.
Craig was on his way to Abilene to lead a Sparrow Workshop and saw a monarch flying alongside the road between Sisterdale and Fredericksburg (TX) at approximately 5:50pm.
