Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)
Sightings report image

Date: 03/22/2014

Number: 1

Three (I think I may have seen a fourth at one point) hummingbirds came to our ship while we were at sea off the coast of Lousiana. We made some make-shift hummingbird feeders with sugar water. They found them and ate. At least one was a Ruby throated hummingbird I think. They did not all look the same though. I think there may have been more than one hummingbird variety (different bill lengths and coloration). I have pictures of 2 of them.
