Today is a cold blowing snow day, I seen my first Killdeer of the season while walking my dog. The Killdeer flew from my property to a wet area across the road. A week ago even the wet spot was covered with snow. I sure hope winter breaks soon for all the birds arriving that expect to find food and start nesting!
