I saw the monarch from my car as I was driving slowly through my neighborhood. It was a small adult and appeared to be very healthy. I have 24 tropical milkweed in my backyard and half of them are blooming. We continue to have more cool spells than usual for Texas but hopefully no more freezes until late in the year. I was so happy to finally see a monarch and hope to see many more to follow!
