My husband spotted the monarch as he was riding through the field hunting for milkweed. He spotted the monarch and followed it across the field for a few minutes. Then he came in the house to get me. We didn't see it when we went back outside.

The only bad thing is that MS has had severe weather including snow and ice storms late in the season. We usually have milkweed at the time, but we haven't spotted any yet this season.
