Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/28/2014

Number: 1

A female Monarch spent 15 minutes feeding and resting in our redbud tree. Her wings were faded but not tattered. 30 minutes later I saw another Monarch. It may have been the same one, but the color seemed less drab. Later, driving down the highway, I saw another Monarch crossing the highway. These are my first sightings for 2014.
