Date: 03/28/2014

Number: 2

2 mariposa volando en la ciudad a la altura del 19 Veracruz con rumbo alnorte.

We are observing the ovoposition activity of the monarch butterfly on the Asclepia curassavica in three areas close to Victoria city in the east past of the Sierra Madre Oriental. We don´t have any record of this success. We think that is very important, because we found a lot of eggs and larvae on the Asclepias.

Each week, we are visiting the areas and taking pictures about the growing up ot the larvea (worms). Also we are waiting that a big number of Monarch Butterflies born in Tamaulipas territory and take the way to the north.
