Hummingbird, Other Species Sighted

Date: 03/28/2014

Number: 2

At 6:15 pm on March 28, 2014, my husband and I spotted one black-chinned hummingbird on the one feeder that we had put out the day before. Ten minutes later, another black-chinned attempted to feed but the original chased it away. My husband prepared another feeder so that each now has its own feeder. We await the next spring-fall residents. Last year we had fourteen feeders that were replenished every 2 days because of the number of hummers (mostly black-chinned) that frequented our feeders from sun-up to sun-down.
