We have one small patch of ground that isnt covered with snow in our yard. When we pulled down the drive way, a robin flew up into the trees above it. I thought it would be a long time before we saw this site for sore eyes here in the north woods because there is still so much snow here. So good to see. To me, the robins are the heralds of Spring. We all have hungry eyes for these hardy individuals. Hope the bitter cold is gone.
