I was woken up by the sound I thought was clumps of melting snow hitting my roof. Clump, clump, clump. This went on for about 20 minutes the best i can remember. Finally, since it wouldn't let me sleep I got up only to see a robin bump against my window. I look outside and there is a whole wave of them. At least 10 but perhaps many more. Have no idea why she was bumping on my window, but she stopped once I looked out and she looked back at me. Beautiful sight.
