Saw the first Robin of the year this morning. I was shoveling snow on my sidewalk and thought I heard a Robin. I did not think it could be one because there is at least 2ft of snow on the ground and the snow banks are 5ft high, though the temp is 44 degrees and rain is predicted. I followed the sound and saw the Robin in a neighbor's mountain ash tree eating last fall's berries. Spring has finally arrived.
