I saw a monarch on three different occasions on Monday, 03/17/14. I believe I saw one butterfly once, and a 2nd butterfly twice as one's coloring was not quite as vibrant as the other. I have milkweed, blooming aloe vera, hibiscus, bouganvilla and some kind of purple flower, I don't know what it's called, in my yard and the same day I saw the butterflies, I had a little hummer drinking from the aloe vera all day long. I got a picture of the hummer, but not of the butterflies :( ...the butterflies took me by surprise!!
