Monarch (OTHER Observations)
Sightings report image

Date: 03/31/2014

Number: 1

I had a chance to go outside to the pasture around 3pm for about 30 minutes and saw 6 monarchs egg-laying. There were monarch eggs on most of the milkweed plants that I examined. It was very windy, mostly sunny, and around 78 degrees F. I wish I could spend more time watching these beautiful monarchs who have come so far to lay their eggs here. I am glad that the weather is good for them, the wildflowers are abundant, and that the milkweed is doing well.
