Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/03/2014

Number: 1

Looked up in a dead tree around 7:30 AM and was both shocked and delighted to see a hummer resting, Got the feeder out within 20 minutes.

April 4: It was quite a shock. Have not spotted him since yesterday morning. The 3 previous days were warm and breezy. Yesturday afternoon it began to rain from the east and was quite cold, ice surrounding all the limbs and branches, by early evening it had warmed up somewhat , maybe mid 40's but still raining. No photo, sorry.
I will post when I see any hummers again.
