Staff at the Virginia Living Museum report that the first Journey North tulips planted in the museum's Children's Learning Garden by our Adventures In Nature class of age 6-8 year old students bloomed today. The cold spells this spring damaged some of the leaves and flowers and delayed bloom but most of the first blooms look fantastic. The Children’s Learning Garden began with Journey North tulips planted in Fall 1998.
