Spotted our first male ruby throat on 4/1/14 early afternoon. We were able to confirm there were two today 4/6/14. It seemed like a lot of activity at the feeder for one and today both were on the deck at the same time trying to get to the feeder. Have not spotted a female yet. Each year they arrive earlier and earlier. Several years back they arrived on 4/17. Last year it was 4/7 and this year 4/1. So exciting seeing them come to our home year after year.
