Spotted my first robins this morning (3), while outside filling my bird feeders. Much later than our usual first spring sighting.
Due to an unusually long & harsh winter, we still have a huge volume of snow to melt. Very few bare patches for them to forage for food. More snow in the forecast for the next few days.
Happy they have arrived but feel sorry for them & hope they can find food to survive.
