An oriole came to our suet feeder near the time of a winter storm about 2/13. When we realized what it was we started putting orange halves on the same tree. It has been coming ever since. A second oriole also came but was apparently chased off by the first one. I have recently added an oriole feeder with nectar and grape jelly. It is possible that we are now seeing a new migrant rather than the original oriole because we did not have one visit for 2-3 days and thought it may have left the area. Now one is coming to eat jelly and oranges.
