We had a storm at 4am with rain, wind, and lightning. Now at 1pm it was delightful - sunny, breezy, and around 70 degrees F. It seemed like monarch heaven! I saw 11 egg-laying female monarchs over the course of 30 minutes. (The photo is of a milkweed with 4 eggs on it.) Later at 3:30pm, just going out to the pasture for about 5 minutes I saw 4 egg-laying monarchs. Beautiful day, beautiful monarchs!
