I am in Wayside, MS (33.2690° N, 91.0337° W). I have swamp milkweed (Asclepias incarnata) and common milkweed (A. syriaca) that overwintered in quart pots outside. These have put up sprouts over the past 2 weeks. I haven’t seen any Monarchs yet (fingers crossed), although I have seen several Eastern Tiger Swallowtails on the warm days.

I have not yet been to the Yazoo Wildlife Refuge Butterfly Garden (33.1049° N, 90.9876° W), which I help maintain. I hope the milkweed has emerged down there. I’ll be going down to check in the next 2 weeks.
