we have been feeding ruby throated hummers for about 7 years now. last year the first male got here on 04/10/13. looks to be the same male got here yesterday 04/10/14. looking forward to another good year with lots of hummers. the chickahominy swamp/river is about 1,000 yards in front of our house. there is a pair of bald eagles that nest there.
